FREELANCE : In 2014 I did several different freelance jobs including a cub scouts banner. I also did multiple product design sketches and color finishes for Suzanne Cruise creative services, inc. I earned a web designers certificate at JCCC. I designed and printed business cards, a flyer, brochure, letterhead & envelope and calendar card for Quanta Physical Therapy. In 2014 into 2015 I did a series of stylized deer sketches and color illustrations to represent the Deerfield mascot for their new promotional ads through Glynn Devins Senior living marketing solutions. I also did multiple illustrations for a TV commercial under a tight deadline with many quick turn around spots. In 2015 I illustrated several new squirrels for another TV commercial, 2 new owl characters and I did illustrations for brochures for Glynn Devins. And I always met my deadlines.
EMPLOYMENT : Hallmark Cards Inc. Licensing Design Studio 1988 - 1013 Artist
I grew up in Kansas city. I graduated from JCCC and got a degree in Commercial Art. I worked at Hallmark in ReDesign for a a few years, then did some freelance work for a year and came back to Hallmark in Licensing Design where I continued my career. I designed Greeting cards with a wide range of styles from cute, juvenile,humorous to sophisticated, modern,contemporary. I designed ornaments, plush characters, party ware and illustrated, designed and lettered all social expression product from concept to finish for stores like CVS, Gold Crown,Target, Walmart and Walgreens. I worked with licensing properties from Disney, Warner Bros., United Media, Marvel and Thomas Kinkade and many more. I freelanced at Suzanne Cruise Creative Services, Inc. from March through May 2014 designing several product designs. And I've recently been designing business cards, flyer, brochure, letterhead/envelope and postcard calendar for a client. I've recently earned a Web Designer certificate at JCCC and I'm designing a new website. I have many years of experience working with Art Directors and Editors in a professional environment and always meet deadlines.
